This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to consult with sports officials to develop and maintain an effective working relationship in relation to sporting activities or competition.

Application

This unit applies to personnel who coach or train athletes in a sport-specific training or competition setting and those who work in sports development roles.

Assessment must ensure participation in multiple interactions with sports officials relevant to the candidate's current or intended work role to demonstrate competency and consistency of performance.
